Thank you to our Fluidome trainees and postdocs for a successful get-together! We wanted to take a moment to thank our postdocs and trainees, Dr. Mohammadreza Farrokhnia, Dr. Bahareh Babamiri, Angela Si Tu, Erin Dewsnap, Ruth Abraham, Dr. Mehdi Mohammadi Ashani (PhD, PMP), Dr. Stephanie Bishop, and Dr. Atefeh Rafiei, who came together for a wonderful gathering. It was heartwarming to see everyone connecting, sharing ideas, and building relationships. We are honored to have such a hardworking and talented team at Fluidome, and we are excited for future chances to come together and support one another. First place poster award at MANA
Fluidome’s poster on the Crosstalker platform won the best poster presentation award at the 4th Annual Metabolomics Association of North America (MANA) conference in September 2022! The conference, which is widely regarded as a premier event in the metabolomics community, attracts leading scientists, researchers, and practitioners from around the world who share their latest findings and insights on metabolomics.
TENENT i2C award
Fluidome won the “Alberta Innovates Data Enabled Health Transformation Prize” at the TENET i2c finals competition, which took place during Inventures in June 2022. The TENET i2c competition provides a platform for companies like ours, focused on medical discovery and innovation, to showcase our potential and transition towards commercialization through a business pitch event. We are proud to be a part of this exciting initiative that supports and nurtures the growth of emerging companies in the healthcare sector. See more here
Presentation at ASMS
Dr. Stephanie Bishop presented Fluidome’s work on the Crosstalker Platform at 70th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics (ASMS), in June 2022. ASMS is the American Society of Mass Spectrometry which was formed to promote and broadcast knowledge of mass spectrometry and allied topics. Each year, researchers, academics, and industry professionals get together in this conference, share their latest findings, techniques, and innovations in mass spectrometry and related fields.
